Governor condoles demise of adman Gerson Da Cunha

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has expressed condolences on the demise of senior journalist, adman and theater personality Gerson Da Cunha. In a condolence message, the Governor said:

“Gerson Da Cunha was a witness to, and an authoritative commentator on Mumbai in the post-independence era. Starting his career from the All India Radio and PTI, he went on to create his distinct mark in the field of journalism, advertising and theater. Da Cunha was a fearless and studious commentator on civic, social, political and cultural issues. In his demise the city has lost an adorable personality in the field of creativity, culture and civic matters. My deepest condolences”
