    06.07.2025: Governor visits Sri Sringeri Sankara Math on Ashadhi Ekadashi

    06.07.2025:  Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan visited the Sri Sringeri Sankara Math Sharada Mandir in Chembur Mumbai and attended a cultural programme organised on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi. Earlier the Governor had the darshan of Goddess Sharada, Lord Ganesh and Adi Sankara. Manager of the Sri Sringeri Sharada Math Dr Muthukrishnan, Trustee Mohan Subramaniam, Convenor of Suvarna Bharati Aarogya Kendra Dr Kumaraswamy, Trustee of Juna Hanuman Mandir Subodh Acharya, Secretary to the Governor Dr Prashant Narnaware, Deputy Secretary S Ramamoorthy and devotees were present.

    Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan visited the Sri Sringeri Sankara Math Sharada Mandir and attended a cultural programme organised on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi in Chembur Mumbai on Sun (6 July).

    The Governor complimented the Sri Sringeri Sankara Math for organizing the Ashadhi Ekadashi programme. He praised the religious and social work done by the Temple trust. The Governor especially applauded the work of free food distribution and medical service rendered by the Temple.

    Earlier the Governor had the darshan of Goddess Sharada, Lord Ganesh and Adi Sankara.

    Manager of the Sri Sringeri Sharada Math Dr Muthukrishnan, Trustee Mohan Subramaniam, Convenor of Suvarna Bharati Aarogya Kendra Dr Kumaraswamy, Trustee of Juna Hanuman Mandir Subodh Acharya, Secretary to the Governor Dr Prashant Narnaware, Deputy Secretary S Ramamoorthy and devotees were present.

    The Governor applauded the work of Annadan Sevikas, doctors from Suvarna Bharti Aarogya Kendra, and members of the Abhang recital troupe led by Pooja Gopalan.

    Vocalist Pooja Gopalan presented devotional songs in Tamil, Marathi and Hindi.
