Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan has expressed grief over the passing of Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, the supreme leader of the Ismaili Muslim community.

In a condolence message the Governor said, “Profoundly saddened by the passing of His Holiness Prince Karim Aga Khan IV. A visionary leader, he devoted his life to service, spirituality, and the betterment of communities worldwide. His immense contributions to healthcare, education, rural development, and women’s empowerment have created a lasting legacy. He had special bond with Maharashtra and its people. I offer my homage to the great leader and convey my deepest condolences to the bereaved family and the Ismaili community.”
