Padma Awardees from Maharashtra felicitated

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais today felicitated the Padma Awardees from Maharashtra at a public reception held at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Sun (4 June). The public felicitation was organised by the Vasantrao Naik Agricultural Research and Rural Development Foundation.

Padmabhushan recipient Dr Deepak Dhar and Padmashri recipients Bhikuji Idate, Dr Parshuram Khune, Dr Gajanan Mane, Ramesh Patange and Guru Kalyanasundaram Pillai were felicitated. The felicitation for late Padmashri Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was accepted by his wife Smt Rekha Jhunjhunwala. Recipient of Pradhan Mantri National Bravery Award Rohan Ramchandra Bahir was also felicitated.
