Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin meets Maha Governor

Maharashtra Governor C.P.Radhakrishnan had a meeting with a Parliamentary Delegation from Russia led by the Chairman of the Russian Parliament’s Lower House – Duma – Vyacheslav Volodin at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Tue (4 Feb).

Russian Parliamentarians from various party groups were present on the occasion.

The Chairman of the Duma stressed the need to develop cooperation with parliamentary institutions at the State and regional level. He said that strong states make a strong nation. He expressed the hope that the bilateral trade between India and Russia will reach $100 billion by 2030.

The Chairman extended an invitation to Governor Radhakrishnan and Speaker Rahul Narwekar to visit Russia.
