Raj Bhavan on the Canvass: 50 JJ Students – teachers join hands to bring Raj Bhavan alive with colours

A group of 50 students and teachers from the Sir JJ School of Art are set to bring the heritage of Raj Bhavan alive on the canvas.

At the instance of Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari , a 2- day workshop titled ‘The Glory of Heritage’ has been organised in Raj Bhavan for the undergraduate and postgraduate students of the premier School of Art.

The Governor visited the workshop and interacted with the participating students and teachers.

Forty eight students accompanied by 2 teachers will be drawing paintings of various sites and heritage buildings in the Raj Bhavan precinct.

Artist and lecturer Prakash Sonawane is coordinating the workshop while artist Shardul Kadam is assisting him.
