Governor presents the 1st Vishwa Raj Kapoor Cine Ratna Golden Award in Pune

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais today presented the “1st Vishwa Raj Kapoor Cine Ratna Golden Award’ to the late great showman of India, producer and director Raj Kapoor posthumously. Randhir Kapoor annnounced accepting the award through a recorded message. Adinath Mangeshkar, secretary of Vishwashanthi Sangeet Kala Akademi accepted the award.

This is also the birth centenary year of playback singer Mukesh. The great playback singer Mukesh was also honored posthumously on this occasion. Mukesh’s son Nitin Mukesh announced accepting of the award through an AV message. Dr. Mukesh Sharma, CEO VSKA accepted the award.

MIT founder Dr Vishwanath Karad was felicitated by the Governor on the former’s 83rd birthday. Former Sheriff of Mayor Kiran Shantaram, MIT ADT University Executive President Dr. Mangesh Karad, Dr. Suchitra Karad Chate, Jyoti Karad Dhakne and others were present.
