Governor Acharya Devvrat joins villagers in Pimparkhed cleanliness campaign
Nashik, Jan 2: “We litter the streets and create uncleanliness, while sanitation workers remove it. In truth, removing uncleanliness is the work of a good person, and therefore everyone must contribute to keeping the village clean,” said Governor Acharya Devvrat.
A cleanliness campaign was conducted this morning in the premises of the Maruti Temple at Pimparkhed, Taluka Dindori, in the presence of the Governor. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized the importance of cleanliness and appealed to all to maintain hygiene and keep villages beautiful.
Food and Drug Administration Minister Narhari Zirwal, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Praveen Gedam, Governor’s Secretary Prashant Narnaware, Tribal Development Commissioner Leena Bansod, District Collector Ayush Prasad, Zilla Parishad CEO Omkar Pawar, Assistant District Collector Arpita Thube, Kashmira Sankhye, Additional Commissioner of the Tribal Development Department Dinkar Pawara, and Sarpanch Sonali More were present.
Governor Devvrat also felicitated the village sanitation workers for their dedicated service. Officers and staff from various departments, along with local villagers, participated in the campaign.
