    Governor Acharya Devvrat visits HAL, lauds engineers for nation‑building service

    Governor Devvrat praises HAL’s role in strengthening India’s defense capabilities

    Governor Acharya Devvrat visited Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and took a keen interest in learning about aircraft manufacturing and related activities. During the visit, he interacted with the engineers and officials, praising them by saying that they are truly engaged in the service of the nation.

    In the afternoon, Governor Devvrat arrived at HAL to understand the ongoing work connected with the production of defense equipment and materials. He was briefed by the engineers and technicians about the development journey of key aircraft such as Sukhoi-30 MKI, Tejas, Dhruv, and Prachand, which are of great importance to national defense. He also visited various divisions during the tour.
    On his arrival, HAL’s CEO Saket Chaturvedi welcomed him. Present on the occasion were senior officials including Executive Director (Aircraft Manufacturing Division), Executive Director (Finance) Shishirkumar Patra, General Manager (Aircraft Overhaul Division) Varinder Kumar, General Manager (Chief of Project) Subrata Mandal, General Manager (AOD) S. B. Choudhary, General Manager (AURDC) S. D. Behera, COP (AMD) S. K. Naseerullah, and General Manager (Human Resources) Jatinder Kaur, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Praveen Gedam, District Collector Ayush Prasad, Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad Omkar Pawar, Tribal Development Project Officer (Nashik) Kashmira Sankhye, Sub-Divisional Officer Kundan Hire, and Tehsildar Amol Nikam and others were present on this occasion.

    Later, at the HAL Guest House, Governor Devvrat met with various dignitaries and held discussions. On this occasion, he also learned about the “Voice Bot” technology developed by students of K. K. Wagh Engineering College, designed to assist the District Rural Police Force.
