Governor Jishnu Dev Varma unfurls National Tricolour on 67th Maharashtra Day
Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma unfurled the National Tricolour on the occasion of the 67th Maharashtra State Foundation Day at the State function held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park in Mumbai on Friday (1 May).
The Governor inspected the Ceremonial Parade and accepted a salute from the marching columns. The Governor addressed the citizens on the occasion of Maharashtra Day.
Spouse of the Governor Smt Sudha Dev Varma, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Chairman of Maharashtra Legislative Council Prof Ram Shinde, Mayor of Mumbai Ritu Tawde, Chief Secretary Rajesh Agarwal, DGP Sadanand Date, Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Bhide, Police Commissioner Deven Bharti, Consuls and Honorary Consul of various countries in Mumbai and senior officers of the Armed Forces, Civil, Police and Fire Services and citizens were present.
