Maharashtra Governor attends State-level launch of Ayushman Bharat
The Governor of Maharashtra CH. Vidyasagar Rao and State Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attended the State Level launch of the ‘Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana’ in Mumbai on Sunday (23rd Sept).
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor expressed happiness that ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme, to be implemented in integration with Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Aryogya Yojana, will benefit 90 per cent population of Maharashtra. The Governor presented e- cards to 16 beneficiaries on this occasion.
Minister for Higher and Technical Education Vinod Tawde, Minister of Industries and Mining Subhash Desai, Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare Dr Deepak Sawant, Minister for Tourism Jayakumar Rawal, Principal Secretary, Public Health Dr Pradeep Vyas and government officials were present on the occasion.
