Governor applauds the play ‘Abhaya’

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today appaluded the one-woman play ‘Abhaya’ at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai. The play written and directed by Meena Naik narrates story of a 16 year old girl Abhaya who gets sexually abused by a stranger on the street. The play creates awareness about the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO). The Governor complimented the Director and the lead actress Chinmayee Swami for the play. Eminent director – producer Vijaya Mehta, actress Shreya Bugade and the staff and officers of Raj Bhavan were present.
