15.08.2026 : Nagaland students sing Vande Mataram in Pune
Zoom 15.08.2026 : Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma hoisted the National Tricolor on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day at Lok Bhavan in Pune. In a gesture of unity and national integration, students from Nagaland and Meghalaya pursuing education in Pune sung the full version of Vande Mataram. Officers and staff of Lok Bhavan and state police recited the National Anthem and the State Song on the occasion. The Governor and his wife Sudha Dev Varma distributed sweets to the those present and exchanged Independence Day greetings with them.
