10.08.2026: Governor presides over the Chaturveda Conference and National Vedic Studies Award Ceremony in Nashik

10.08.2026: Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma attended the Chaturveda Sammelan and the Dharmabhushan Gaurishankar National Veda Shastra Award Ceremony organised by Maharshi Gautam Godavari Veda Vidya Pratishthan in Nashik. The Governor conferred the Dharmabhushan Gaurishankar National Veda Shastra Awards upon Vedacharya Santosh Kumar Ghanpathi, Vedacharya Mahesh Rekhe Ghanpathi, Vedacharya Srikrishna Shrauti Guruji, Vedacharya Ramchandra Joshi, Vedacharya Rajeshwar Deshmukh, Vedacharya Durgadas Mule, posthumously upon Vedacharya Late Shyam Sundar Joshi, and Vedacharya Ch. Devvrat Rekhe. Nashik Mayor Himgauri Adke-Aher, Founder of the Pratishthan Vedacharya Ravindra Paithane, Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Narnaware, Brahmarshi Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University Prof. Ramakant Pandey, Director of the Central Sanskrit University Campus Nashik Prof. Nilabh Tiwari, Chairman of the Reception Committee Prof. Jayant Bhatambarekar, Deepti Deshpande were among those present.
