28.07.2026: Governor Jishnu Dev Verma reviewed the planning and preparedness for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela to be held at Trimbakeshwar in Nashik next year at the Authority's headquarters. Divisional Commissioner and Chairman of Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority Dr. Praveen Gedam, Police Commissioner Dr. Sandeep Karnik, Special Inspector General of Police of Nashik Range Sanjay Ainapure, Authority Commissioner Shekhar Singh, Nashik Metropolitan Area Development Authority Commissioner Jalaj Sharma, Municipal Commissioner Manisha Khatri, District Collector Ayush Prasad, and officers of various departments were present.
