    20.05.2026: Governor releases the book ‘Pilgrim of Samarasata’, a biography of Padmashri Dada Idate, former Chairman of the National Commission for Denotified, Nomadic and Semi Nomadic Tribes

    20.05.2026: Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma released the book 'Pilgrim of Samarasata', a biography of Padmashri Dada Idate, former Chairman of the National Commission for Denotified, Nomadic and Semi Nomadic Tribes at Lok Bhavan Mumbai. The biography authored in Marathi by Neelima Deshpande has been rendered in English by Ruturaj Patki. RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat has written the preface to the book. The Governor also released two books 'Adhunik Shetiche Model' and 'Aaple Konkan' authored by noted business leader and Managing Director of Pitambari Products Dr. Ravindra Prabhudesai at Lok Bhavan Mumbai. Padmashri Ramesh Patange, Patron of Saptahik Vivek, Padmashri Dada Idate, Dr. Ravindra Prabhudesai, along with members of the Samarasata Manch, Vivek Parivar, the Pitambari family were present.
