01.05.2026 : Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma unfurled the National Tricolour on the occasion of the 67th Maharashtra State Foundation Day at the State function held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park in Mumbai. The Governor inspected the Ceremonial Parade and accepted a salute from the marching columns. Spouse of the Governor Smt Sudha Dev Varma, CM Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra Legislative Council Chairman Prof Ram Shinde, Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde, CS Rajesh Agarwal, DGP Sadanand Date, Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Bhide, Police Commissioner Deven Bharti, Consuls and Honorary Consul of various countries in Mumbai and senior officers of the Armed Forces, Civil, Police and Fire Services and citizens were present.
