Consuls of Japan, Finland and China call on Governor Acharya Devvrat
The Consul General of Japan in Mumbai Yagi Koji, Consul General of Finland Erik Af Hallstrom and Consul General of People’s Republic of China in Mumbai Qin Jie called on the Governor of Maharashtra and Gujarat Acharya Devvrat at Lok Bhavan Mumbai on Mon (23 Feb).
The Japanese Consul General highlighted Japan’s cooperation in key infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, including the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Railway, Atal Setu and Mumbai Metro Line 3.
Vice-Consul and Head of Political and Economic Affairs of Japan Nishio Ryo was also present.
The Consul General of Finland in Mumbai, Mr. Erik af Hallström also called on the Governor of Maharashtra and Gujarat Acharya Devvrat at Lok Bhavan, Mumbai.
During the meeting, the Consul General informed the Governor that the President of Finland will be visiting India in the first week of March and is scheduled to visit Mumbai as part of the tour.
Deputy Consul General Dr. Eva Nilsson, Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Narnaware and Joint Secretary S. Ramamoorthy were present.
The Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Mumbai Mr Qin Jie also called on the Governor of Maharashtra and Gujarat, Acharya Devvrat, at Lok Bhavan, Mumbai.
Matters of promoting cooperation in education, culture and bilateral trade were discussed.
Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Narnaware and Joint Secretary S. Ramamoorthy were also present on the occasion.
