18.02.2026: Vivek Bhimanwar sworn in as Chairman of MPSC; Governor administers oath at Lok Bhavan

18.02.2026: Governor Acharya Devvrat administered the oath of office and secrecy to Senior civil service officer Vivek Bhimanwar as the Chairman of Maharashtra Public Service Commission at a brief oath-taking ceremony held at Lok Bhavan, Mumbai. The Governor, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde congratulated Bhimanwar by presenting him with bouquets.
Former Chairman of MPSC Rajnish Seth, Officiating Chairman Dr. Abhay Wagh, members of the Commission, Chief Minister’s Secretary Shrikar Pardeshi, government officials, and family members of Bhimanwar were present. Earlier, the Governor’s Secretary Dr. Prashant Narnaware read out the notification regarding the appointment of Vivek Bhimanwar issued by the General Administration Department.
