20.05.2025: Governor administers Oath of Office to Chhagan Bhujbal

20.05.2025: Former Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Chandrabhaga Chandrakant Bhujbal was today inducted in the Maharashtra State Cabinet as a Minister. Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office and secrecy to the former Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal at a brief oath taking ceremony held at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Ministers in the State Cabinet and other invitees were present. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Maharashtra Legislative Council Prof. Ram Shinde, Speaker Rahul Narwekar, Cabinet Ministers Dadaji Bhuse, Chandrakant Patil, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Hasan Mushrif, Narhari Zirwal, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Atul Save, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Sanjay Rathod, Ashok Uike, Uday Samant, Sanjay Shirsat, Sanjay Rathod, and Dattatraya Bharane, MPs Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare, Police Commissioner Deven Bharti, Governor’s Secretary Dr. Prashant Narnaware, senior government officials, and members of Bhujbal’s family. The oath taking ceremony began with Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik seeking the Governor’s permission to commence the ceremony. The Governor then administered the oath to Chhagan Bhujbal. The Governor presented a bouquet to Bhujbal and congratulated him. Subsequently, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar also congratulated Bhujbal by presenting him with floral bouquets.
