    09.04.2025 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the global meeting on the occasion of 'Vishwa Navkar Mantra Diwas' from Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi It was relayed online.  
Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan attended the Vishwa Navkar Maha Mantra Day, organized by Jain International Trade Organization at NSCI, Worli, Mumbai.  
Jain Aacharya Sadhu and Sadhvis, Minister of Skill Development Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Office bearers and Members of the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) and members of the Jain community were present.

    Maharashtra Governor presides over the Vishwa NavkarMaha Mantra Day in Mumbai

    As part of the celebrations of Bhagwan MahavirJayanti, the ‘Vishwa Navkar Maha Mantra Day’ was organised globally by JITO andother Jain organisations on Wednesday (9 April).

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the global ‘VishwaNavakar Maha Mantra Day event from Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi, which was relayedall over the world.

    In Mumbai, Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan andMinister of Skill Development Mangal Prabhat Lodha participated in the Vishwa NavkarMaha Mantra Day programme organised by Jain International Trade Organization (JITO)at NSCI Dome in Mumbai.

    Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Modi appealedto the people to adopt 9 vows for the welfare of humanity. He appealed to thepeople to save every drop of water, plant one sapling in the name of mother,observe Swachchhata Mission, be ‘Vocal for Local’, visit various places in thecountry, promote natural farming, adopt a healthy lifestyle, increase the useof millets in food, promote sports and yoga and help the poor and the needy.

    Speakingon the occasion in Mumbai, Governor Radhakrishnan said the Navkar Maha Mantrais not merely a set of syllables, it is an invocation that honours theenlightened souls: the Arihantas, Siddhas, Acharyas, Upadhyayas and all Sadhus.

    He appealed to the people to let Navkar Maha Mantra Day be a new dawn for humanityand asked people to choose reflection over reaction, unity over division, andpeace over conflict.

    Gachchadhipati Nityanand Suri, Acharya K C Maharaj, Acharya Naya Padmasagar Ji Maharaj, MuniVinamra Sagar Ji, Acharya Dr Lokesh Muni, President of All India Bikkhu SanghBhadant Rahul Bodhi Mahathero were among those present.
