Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura Foundation Day celebrated in Maharashtra Raj Bhavan

The State Foundation Day of Meghalaya, Manipur and Tripura was celebrated in presence of Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan at Maharashtra Raj Bhavan in Mumbai on Tue (21 Jan).

The celebrations were organised as part of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative of Government of India.

A cultural programme showcasing the customs and traditions of Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura was presented on this occasion.

The cultural programme was presented by the students of the HSNC University. Audio-visual films showing the features of the three States were also shown.

Vice Chancellor of HSNC Univesity Prof Hemlata Bagla, Registrar Dr Bhagwan Balani, Principals of HSNC colleges, faculty and students were present. Principal Secretary to the Governor delivered the welcome address while Comptroller of the Governor’s Households Jitendra Wagh proposed a vote of thanks.
