23.08.2024: Governor presents the Tamil Perayam awards in Tamil Nadu

23.08.2024: Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan presented the Tamil Perayam awards to Tamil Scholars, literary personalities and Tamil Associations who enriched the world through their work in Tamil at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) Deemed University, Kattankulathur, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. Founder Chancellor of SRMIST Dr T R Paarivendhar, Co Chairman S Niranjan, Vice Chancellor SRMIST Dr C Muthamizhchelvan, Registrar Dr S Ponnusamy, President, Tamil Perayam Dr Karu Nagarajn, Estate officer R Arunachalam, faculty, students and invitees were present. The 'Muthuthandavar Thamaizh Isai' award was conferred to the author Prof S Muthulakshmi for @DPD_India's book 'Thamizhisai' at the hands of C.P. Radhakrishnan. A memento for the same was also presented to Sanjay Ghosh, Deputy Director, Publications Division.
