30.03.2024: Governor inaugurates Merchant Day Week

30.03.2024: Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais inaugurated the 61st National Maritime Day and Merchant Navy Week – 2024 at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. The Merchant Navy Week was organised by the Shipping Corporation of India and the National Maritime Day Celebrations Committee. Director General of Shipping Shyam Jagannathan affixed the maritime day badge on the apparel of the Governor. Chairman of Shipping Corporation of India Capt B K Tyagi, Chairman of National Maritime Day Celebrations Committee Atul Ubale, Deputy DG Dr Pandurang Raut, Ship Surveyor Aniruddha Chaki, Nautical Surveyor Capt Manish Kumar, Shipping Master Mukul Datta and representatives of various shipping organisations were present.
