26.02.2024: PM digitally launches of renovation of 554 railway stations

26.02.2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated or dedicated to the nation through the digital mode, the project of redevelopment of 554 railway stations across the country under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The Prime Minister also inaugurated or laid the foundation stone for 1585 road over bridges as well as Under Passes on the occasion. Prior to the inauguration ceremony, a programme was organized by the Central Railway at Byculla Railway Station in Mumbai. Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, Guardian Minister of Mumbai Deepak Kesarkar, General Manager of Central Railway Ram Karan Yadav were among those present. The Governor also presented certificates to the winners of Drawing and Essay writing competitions.
