17.10.2023 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 3rd edition of the Global India Maritime Summit 2023 through online mode. The Prime Minister launched various projects relating to the maritime sector on this occasion. Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways & AYUSH Sarbanand Sonowal, MoS Shripad Naik and delegates from several countries attended the inaugural session of the Global Maritime India Summit 2023 in Mumbai.
