Governor launches 150th Anniversary Celebrations of Anjuman I Islam’

The yearlong celebrations of the 150th anniversary of Anjuman I Islam institution were launched in presence of Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais in Mumbai on Thursday (27 July).

The Governor felicitated 57 faculty members and students of various educational institutions of Anjuman-I-Islam who obtained Ph. D. degrees at the function held at Anjuman’s Saif Tyabji Girls High School, Mumbai Central.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor applauded the contribution of Anjuman in the empowerment of women and the socio- economic progress of the nation.

President of Anjuman-I-Islam Dr. Zahir Kazi, Vice Chancellor of University of Mumbai Dr. Ravindra Kulkarni, Senior Vice President of ‘Anjuman’ Mushtaq Antulay, Principals, teachers and alumni of various Anjuman institutions were present.
