Governor Bais reviews progress of Public Health schemes in Maharashtra

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais reviewed the progress of implementation of various projects and programmes of the Public Health Department in Maharashtra at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Mon (24 July). Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare Dr Tanaji Sawant was present.

Additional Chief Secretary Public Health Milind Mhaiskar and Commissioner Health Services Dheeraj Kumar gave an elaborate presentation on Health Infrastructure and Indicators in Maharashtra, Achievements of Health Department, Major decisions taken by the Department, Special Initiatives to reduce child and maternal mortality in Melghat, National Health Mission, Ayushman Bharat, Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Programme, Pradhan Mantri TB Mukta Bharat Abhiyan, Maharashtra Emergency Medical Services project, etc.
