26.05.2023 : Governor flagg off the Jal Kalash Rath Yatra ahead of the 350 Coronation Ceremony of Shivaji Maharaj

26.05.2023 : Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais flagged off the Jal Kalash Rath Yatra from Mumbai to Fort Raigad ahead of the 350th Coronation Ceremony of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from Raj Bhavan Mumbai. The Governor performed the Sahastra Jal Kalash Pujan and witnessed the demonstration of martial arts presented by children and youth. Minister of Cultural Affairs Sudhir Mungantiwar, Principal Secretary CUlture Vikas Kharge, Karyavahak of Raigad Smarak Mandal Sudhir Thorat, Shri Shiv Rajyabhishek Dinotsav Seva Samiti official Sunil Pawar and Mahant Sudhirdas Maharaj were present on the occasion. The water from the Jal Kalash collected from various rivers across the country will be used for the Coronation Ceremony.
