31.03.2023: Governor inaugurates Diamond Jubilee National Maritime Day Celebrations

31.03.2023 : Governor Ramesh Bais inaugurated the National Maritime Week and the Diamond Jubilee of the National Maritime Day Celebrations at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. DG Shipping, Chairman of Mumbai Port Trust and Chairman, NMDC (Central) Committee Rajiv Jalota pinned the first miniature batch of maritime day on the jacket of the Governor to mark the inauguration. Additional DG Shipping Kumar Sanjay Bariar, Deputy DG Shipping & Member Secretary, NMDC (Central) Committee Dr. Pandurang K. Raut, CMD of Shipping Corporation of India Capt B K Tyagi, Director and Chairman of NMDC organizing committee Atul Ubale, Shipping Master Mukul Dutta and stakeholders and representatives of maritime industry and seafarers union were present.
