Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of Universities Ramesh Bais presided over the 59th Annual Convocation of Shivaji University, Kolhapur through online mode.

Former Director of IIT, Kanpur Prof. Sanjay Dhande, Vice Chancellor of Shivaji University Dr. Digambar Shirke, Pro-VC Dr. Pramod Patil, Registrar Dr. Vilas Shinde, Director, Board of Examinations and Evaluation Dr. Ajitsinh Jadhav and graduating students were present.

The President’s gold medal was awarded to Manik Bandgar, while the Chancellor’s gold medal was awarded to Soham Jagtap.

In all 66457 students have been were awarded degrees, deplomas and Ph.D. at the convocation.
