Governor presents Stitching Machine and Flour Mills to 75 Divyangs on 75th Anniversary of Independence
Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presided over a programme to present Sewing Machines and Flour Mills to 75 Divyang Persons at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Sunday (26 Mar).
The Governor complimented the Hetu Charitable Trust for working for the empowerment of the persons with disabilities and announced a donation of Rs. 5 lakh to the Trust.
The programme was organised by the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission in association with Hetu Charitable Trust, ‘Saksham’ Konkan Region and District Legal Services Authority, Mumbai Suburb to commemorate the completion of 75 years to India’s Independence.
Minister of Tourism and Skill Development Mangal Prabhat Lodha, former Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh Justice A A Sayed, Chairman of Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission Justice (retd) K.K. Tated, Secretary of Hetu Charitable Trust Rikhabchand Jain, social worker Ramesh Sawant of ‘Saksham’ Konkan Prant, Secretary of DLSA Justice Satish Hiwale and Divyang persons were present.
