18.02.2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated to the nation the 5th and 6th New Suburban Railway Lines between Thane and Diva through video conference. The PM also flagged off the inaugural run of additional suburban services from Thane and Diva. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari attended the programme online from Raj Bhavan. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Railway MoS Raosaheb Danve, Panchayati Raj MoS Kapil Patil, Dy CM Ajit Pawar, Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis, MPs, MLAs and people's representatives also attended the programme.
