Maha Governor pays tributes to Sardar Patel, Indira Gandhi

The Governor of Maharashtra and Goa Bhagat Singh Koshyari offered floral tributes to the photograph of late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on the occasion of his 145th birth anniversary at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai.

The Governor also offered floral tributes to the portrait of former Prime Minister of India Smt. Indira Gandhi on her 36th death anniversary.

The birth anniversary of Sardar Patel is celebrated as National Unity Day. The Governor read out the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge to the staff and officers of Raj Bhavan on this occasion.

Principal Secretary to the Governor Santosh Kumar, Deputy Secretary Shweta Singhal, Private Secretary Ulhas Munagekar and staff and officers of Raj Bhavan were present.
