Governor presides over Convocation of MU; presents Gold Medals to meritorious students

Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of State Universities Bhagat Singh Koshyrari presided over the Annual Convocation of the 164- year old University of Mumbai at the Sir Cowasji Jehangir Convocation Hall of the University in Mumbai on Monday (27 Dec).

Minister of Tourism and Protocol Aaditya Thackeray, Director of National Institute of Oceanography Prof. Sunil Kumar Singh, Vice Chancellor Dr. Suhas Pednekar, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Ravindra Kulkarni, Registrar Dr Sudhir Puranik, Director, Board of Examination and Evaluation Dr Vinod Patil, Members of various boards of authorities, Deans, faculty and graduating students were present.

Degrees, Diplomas and Ph.D.s were conferred on 212822 students. The Governor presented Gold Medals to meritorious students on this occasion.
