Sadbhavana Day Pledge given to Raj Bhavan staff on Rajiv Gandhi Birth Anniversary

The 76th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India late Rajiv Gandhi was commemorated at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Thursday 20th Aug.

Floral tributes were offered to the portrait of late Shri Rajiv Gandhi on this occasion.

Principal Secretary to the Governor Santosh Kumar read out the ‘Sadbhavana Day Pledge’ which was repeated by the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan.

The staff resolved, ‘to work for the emotional oneness and harmony of all the people of India regardless of caste, creed, region, religion or language’ and to ‘resolve all differences through dialogue and constitutional means without resorting to violence’.

Comptroller of Governor’s Household Badal Kumar, officers and staff and Public Works staff posted at Raj Bhavan were present on the occasion.
