    Governor inaugurated a metallic art installation ‘Nabh Abheepsa’ at Film and Television Institute of India, Pune

    Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today inaugurated a metallic art installation ‘Nabh Abheepsa’ in the campus of Film and Television Institute of India in Pune. The installation has been made of scrapped studio lights, junked arc lights, out of use tracks and other discarded material.

    The project was conceptualised and developed by the Institute’s Department of Cinematography and Art Direction & Production Design. Director of FTII Bhupendra Kainthola, Dean (Television) R N Pathak, Dean (Films) Dhiraj Meshram and Registrar Sayyid Rabeehashmi were present. FTII, set up in 1960, is commemorating its Diamond Jubilee this year.
