Governor greets people on the occasion of Navratri, Durga Puja

The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari has greeted the people on the occasion of Navratri and Durga Puja. In his message the Governor has said:

“I extend my heartiest greetings and good wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion of Navratri and Durga Puja. May the Goddess of strength Ma Durga bring happiness, peace and prosperity in everyone’s lives.

Navratri reminds us of the different facets of Matru Shakti. It symbolizes the victory of the good over evil forces.

This year, we are passing through an extraordinary situation because of the Covid-19 pandemic. I appeal to all to celebrate the Navratri festival in a modest way by organizing health awareness, blood donation and plazma donation camps and such other socially beneficial initiatives”.
