Governor presented Bombay Art Society’s prestigious ‘Roopdhar’ award to Ravi Paranjpe

Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari presented Bombay Art Society’s prestigious ‘Roopdhar’ award to internationally acclaimed painter Ravi Paranjpe in Mumbai.
The Award was presented to Ravi Paranjpe for his lifetime contribution to art at the inaugural ceremony of the 130th All India Annual Art Exhibition organised by the Society at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai.

President of JSW Foundation Sangita Jindal, President of Bombay Art Society Rajendra Patil, Chairman of the Society Prof Narendra Vichare, Charanjit Yadav, students and artists were present.

The Governor also presented various prizes and scholarships instituted by the Bombay Art Society to professional artists and students on the occasion.
